All about the Feels

We believe that health and fitness is not defined by how lean your stomach is or how many followers you have on instagram. We believe everyone on this planet can find a pathway to a fitter healthier life, and even enjoy the process.

Ultimately we all want to feel confident, competent and look good. We will get you here, without faddy ‘transformations’, gruelling regimes and yo-yo weight loss and gain. We judge our success by the smiles we make, from meaningful changes to health and fitness… not by numbers on a scale..

The Physical Stuff

Our methods focus on how we feel when we train. All our training styles have been developed to increase your happy hormones, creating neural pathways telling your body that exercise feels great. There will be smiles and endorphins in abundance as you move towards better wellbeing, confidence and strength.

Our training options:

  • Morning Squad (the accountability option) - Small group training in the comfort of your own home. Joining live or watching back at another time. This small group becomes your own club, supporting each other, working as a team, sharing daily wins together. We’re live, real time together 4x/week.

  • On Demand - All of our classes are available on demand through individual rental or membership to the entire library.

  • Personal Training - For those with a little trepidation about starting their fitness journey or requiring a little more attention or privacy. We offer a completely private 121 space, both indoors and outdoors in central Wokingham. While COVID restrictions are in place we have limited sessions available in public spaces or online.

The other stuff

We also like to take a holistic look at health and wellbeing. We look at the balance between sleep, nutrition, water and exercise and how they impact your physical and mental health.

Our only goal is to find a method of physical training that suits each individual. This training, coupled with a few small tweaks to your lifestyle, will help you find that balance and peace we all look for. Whether it’s walking in the park, running, outdoor bootcamps or lifting weights, we want to get your heart pumping and your soul smiling.

Your Trainer

I’m Louise Charles, Personal Trainer, Hypnobirthing Instructor, Health and Wellness Coach, activewear addict and Netflix binger!

As a mother of 3 children under 6 I know all too well the complications of fitting time to train into a busy family life. I have developed 3 different ways to train to suit busy lives!

My previous corporate life, beyond the wellness industry, has gifted me with first-hand experience and understanding of human behaviour and change management. I harness these insights to help individuals achieve their goals – in the pursuit of a more balanced lifestyle.

I don’t just talk the talk: in the past, my weight fluctuated after pregnancy, I worked long hours, made poor food choices and punished myself on the cross-trainer. I was confused by the ‘noise’ of the fitness industry, and tempted to reach for the quick fixes that ultimately make us feel like failures once the pounds pile back on. Fitness and weight loss became intrinsically linked and this made me miserable.

I was fortunate enough to meet and work with some fantastic fitness professionals, who reminded me of the true meaning of health, wellness and happiness. I was encouraged and empowered to refocus on the importance of long-term health while having fun – yes, fun – and making small but lasting changes. As my body responded positively, a new confidence grew within me that I felt compelled to share.

I was inspired to found the Live Once Fitness Studio as an antidote to the fitness fads of excluding major food groups or unrealistic “transformations”. It’s a private, safe space where you can unlock your love of feeling fit and discover a rewarding way to train.
